19 Million Eggs Recalled in the United States: Full List of Brands, Revealed

There is a massive egg recall happening in the United States right now.

The FDA has revealed that 1,589,577 dozen white shell eggs and brown cage free shell eggs from Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. have been voluntarily recalled by the company.

This means that over 19 million eggs are impacted by this recall, with the exact number around 19,074,924 individual eggs.

Many in the US are not happy right now, as there’s also a major outbreak of cyclospora, said to be linked to lettuce and now possibly fresh herbs.

The eggs are being recalled for Salmonella Enteritidis concerns

Salmonella is a bacteria that can make humans very ill.

Salmonella infection can cause a range of symptoms, most commonly diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever, nausea, and vomiting. Some people may also experience chills, headaches, or blood in their stool, the Mayo Clinic reports.

Where were the eggs sold?

The FDA has revealed more on this.

The eggs were produced and distributed from farms in Texas between June 6, 2026 and July 3, 2026, with sell by or best by dates between July 20, 2026 and August 17, 2026. The eggs were shipped to foodservice and retail customers in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. They were available to consumers at Kroger stores in Texas and Louisiana, Brookshire Grocery stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi, and other smaller retail outlets. No other Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. products are part of this recall.
