SNL’s Ashley Padilla Makes Debut as Natalie Harp in Cold Open Spoofing Trump’s Meeting with Mamdani

SNL is spoofing Trump’s executive assistant Natalie Harp for the first time, with cast member Ashley Padilla making her debut as the character in the cold open for the season premiere!

Saturday Night Live kicked off the new season by spoofing Donald Trump‘s recent meeting with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

James Austin Johnson, as Trump, traveled to NYC during the nor’easter storm to visit Mamdani, played by guest star Ramy Youssef.

Natalie Harp has been getting a lot of attention for the past month after being spotted by Trump‘s side constantly.

In the SNL sketch, she was seen soaked in water while storming into the room. Padilla, playing her, said, “I ran here from D.C. ‘Weapons’-style. I came in case you needed anything because ‘Baby boy, you’ve been on my mind.” She sang the lyric in the style of Beyonce.

Johnson‘s Trump compared her to Inde Navarrette‘s Nikki from Obsession.

“Isn’t she great? She’s like the girl from Obsession, but blonde,” he said while Padilla made the frown face. She then went over to Youssef‘s Mamdani and whispered into his ear, “If you hurt him, I will end you.”
