‘Yellowjackets’ Star Jasmin Savoy Brown to Make Broadway Debut, Joins All-New Principal Cast of ‘Hadestown’

Jasmin Savoy Brown is heading to the Great White Way!

The 32-year-old actress, best known for Yellowjackets and the Scream movies, has been cast in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Hadestown.

Jasmin will star as Eurydice, starting September 1st at the Walter Kerr Theatre, alongside an all-new principal company, including Norbert Leo Butz‘s Broadway return as Hermes, Amber Iman as Persephone, and also making their Broadway debuts, Kayko as Orpheus and Geno Segers as Hades.

What is Hadestown about?

Following two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone —?Hadestown ?invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.

Who else has starred in Hadestown?

Currently starring in the show are Gary Dourdan as Hades, J Harrison Ghee as Hermes, John-Michael Lyles as Orpheus, Gaby Moreno as Persephone, and Jordan Tyson as Eurydice.

Past notable stars include Jordan Fisher and Joshua Colley as Orpheus; Lola Tung, Maia Reficco, Hailey Kilgore, Myra Molloy, and Morgan Dudley as Eurydice; Betty Who as Persephone; and Stephanie Mills as Hermes.

Reeve Carney, Eva Noblezada, Patrick Page, Amber Gray and Andre De Shields originated the lead roles on Broadway in 2019, and recently reunited for a limited run on London’s West End, which culminated in a filmed production, which is currently in movie theaters!
