Will Estes Returning as Jamie Reagan for 'Boston Blue' Season 2 | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Will Estes will reprise his role as Jameson “Jamie” Reagan on the Blue Bloods spinoff series Boston Blue.

The actor was seen on set on Thursday and then on Friday (August 7), Boston Blue star Donnie Wahlberg shared a photo on his Instagram Stories that featured him and his co-stars sitting alongside Will.

Will plays the brother of Donnie‘s character Danny Regan, so it looks like it’s going to be a family reunion in the upcoming second season of the spinoff.

“Welcome (back) to the family! Jamie Regan! aka Will Estes!” Donnie captioned the photo.

People also confirmed that Will will guest star on Boston Blue in season 2, making him the third Regan to reunite with Danny. Bridget Moynahan reprised her role as Erin in season 1 and Len Cariou appeared in one episode as Henry.

No details about the guest arc have been revealed yet. In season 1, Danny learned that Jamie and his wife’s son is named Joseph after their late brother.

Earlier this year, Donnie opened up about the show and the filming process, revealing he actually tried to make a big personal sacrifice in the hopes of getting the filming location changed to Boston.
