The 54-year-old rapper will host the awards show live from Los Angeles on Sunday night (September 27), marking another major career moment for the hip-hop icon.
Offstage, Snoop has been married to his high school sweetheart Shante Broadus for nearly three decades.

Who Is Snoop Dogg’s Wife Shante Broadus?
Snoop and Shante met as teenagers while attending Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California.
The couple dated during high school and even attended prom together before Snoop became famous. They eventually tied the knot in June 1997.
They celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Snoop Dogg & Shante Broadus Renewed Their Vows
Snoop and Shante‘s relationship has had its ups and downs over the years.
Snoop filed for divorce in 2004, but the couple ultimately reconciled and renewed their wedding vows in January 2008.
Snoop has since spoken publicly about how important Shante has been in his life and career, describing her as the balance to his personality and crediting her with helping keep their family together.
“Over the years she’s grown with me to know what I do and how I do it and to give me the space to do it,” he told People. “The things that she helped me with is patience, understanding what family is, making time for family and not making excuses.”
Shante Broadus Is Also Snoop Dogg’s Manager
Shante is more than just Snoop‘s longtime partner.
In 2021, Snoop officially appointed her as his manager, putting her in charge of overseeing his wide-ranging business portfolio, including projects across music, touring, television, film, licensing and brand partnerships.
Shante also runs Boss Lady Entertainment and had already been involved behind the scenes in Snoop‘s career for years before taking on the official management role.
“Shante has been guiding my career behind the scenes from day one,” Snoop said when announcing her appointment.
How Many Kids Do Snoop Dogg & Shante Broadus Have?
Snoop and Shante share three children together: sons Cordé Broadus, 32, and Cordell Broadus, 29, and daughter Cori Broadus, 27.
Snoop is also dad to son Julian Broadus, 28, from a previous relationship.
The rapper has frequently spoken about how important fatherhood and family are to him as he has gotten older.
Snoop and Shante were more recently photographed together at the 2025 BET Awards, where they stepped out in matching looks.
