Ellie Goulding publicly called out one of her own fan accounts for writing a message to her, spewing anti-anti LGBTQ+ rhetoric.

In a post that has now been deleted, a fan site reportedly posted the message on X, and tagged the 39-year-old singer directly.

The account holder allegedly wrote, and then later deleted, the following message: “I’m so glad your recent outfits are so feminine—lace, silk. They really highlight your beauty; I prefer them over those ‘trans’ looks aimed at a specific community, and I think you do too—you’ve been looking lovely lately.”

Ellie saw the tweet and responded directly: “Girl, no thank you. We don’t tolerate any anti LGBTQ+ in the fandom. I know you are better than this.”

Ellie did not comment further on the situation, but became a trending topic on X.
