What Is Nathan Fielder's Elizabeth Holmes Documentary? 'You Can See Everything' Explained | Just Jared

Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim are bringing Elizabeth Holmes to the big screen in a new documentary from A24.
You Can See Everything follows the actual, controversial Theranos founder herself, with cameras entering her life shortly before she was due to start her prison sentence.
According to the A24 synopsis, Elizabeth actually invited the crew to document her daily life 34 days before she was sent to prison. The studio describes the project as one that ultimately spans three years.
Elizabeth was sentenced in November 2022 to 11 years and three months in federal prison for defrauding Theranos investors. Her convictions included one count of conspiracy and three counts of wire fraud.
The documentary had a surprise screening at Telluride on Sunday, September 6, according to Vanity Fair.
Nathan even stayed with Elizabeth and her family during filming, giving the project access to their home life before her imprisonment.
“I really am struggling to this day to understand exactly what I experienced,” Nathan said during the post-screening Q&A, according to the outlet. “And one of the things I’m genuinely excited about is for this movie to come out and for people to help me understand what I experienced. Truly, to this day, I don’t quite know what I went through.”
A24’s official teaser, released September 6, advertises an October 2026 theatrical release, though they have not shared an official date yet.
Amanda Seyfried previously portrayed Elizabeth in the Hulu limited series The Dropout. You Can See Everything is a separate documentary that features the real Elizabeth. Amanda previously talked about being unable to contact her while she was filming The Dropout.
There is also a planned Bad Blood adaptation from Don’t Look Up director Adam McKay that once had Jennifer Lawrence attached to stay.
