The Freedom 250 event at the White House on June 14 cost UFC owners $30 million.

UFC’s parent company TKO Group Holdings released the financial numbers on Monday (August 3), via BBC Sport.

Andrew Schleimer, chief financial officer of TKO Group, told investors they experienced higher than normal costs for Freedom 250, which they “partially offset with sold-out global partnerships inventory,” according to the report.

“Given the event’s profile, which as anticipated, resulted in an approximate $30m loss, our margins at UFC as well as on a consolidated basis were meaningfully impacted.”

Approximately 4,300 people were present at the event, including President Donald Trump, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Vice President JD Vance, which was held on the South Lawn amid celebrations for the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. Tickets were not sold to the general public, but there were “high-roller” packages for high-profile attendees.

The White House event was streamed on Paramount+, and garnered an average of 34 million viewers worldwide, breaking records as one of the most watched MMA events ever.

Regardless of the event’s losses, UFC’s revenue increased 29% year over year to $535.7 million in the second quarter of 2026, the BBC also notes.
