Trinity Rodman Recalls Sliding Into Boyfriend Ben Shelton’s DMs, Reveals Their First Messages!

Trinity Rodman is opening up about her romance with Ben Shelton!

If you didn’t know, the 24-year-old pro soccer player and the 23-year-old tennis first went public with their relationship back in March 2025.

While appearing on the new episode of Kylie Kelce‘s Not Gonna Lie podcast, Trinity revealed she made the first move in the relationship by sliding into Ben‘s DMs.

“Everything I do is just embarrassing. I’m really embarrassed,” Trinity joked. “I said ‘You’re sick, fire emoji.'”

“That’s it … It worked, he responded within 10 minutes, so I win,” she continued. “He matched the cringe situation and then I think a week or two later we met in person.”

Trinity said that she and Ben had an instant connection and that they met for the first time when he “flew out” to stay at her home.

“I fully committed to this guy that I didn’t even meet yet, for him to stay at my house for the weekend,” Trinity recalled. “It’s actually crazy, it’s insane, but it worked out.”

Trinity then gushed about getting to support Ben at his tennis matches.

“It’s the best feeling in the world, honestly,” she shared. “I think to know we’re both on the grind, running our bodies to the ground, always exhausted, doing what we love, and then to also be able to be a little like a WAG in a sense, it feels so good for us.”

After a match at the 2025 US Open last summer, Ben gave Trinity a sweet shout-out.
