Tom Holland is currently doing press for two of this summer’s biggest movies, but he wants people to know that he also thinks some of his past movies were bad.

Visiting the Dish Podcast last week, Tom talked to hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett about how easy it is to do press for films you’re proud of versus those you’re not.

“I’m absolutely loving it. When you’re doing press for movies you’re really proud of, it’s really easy,” he shared. “Because when they ask you questions about why should people go and watch this movie, you’re not lying to anyone. You really feel like people should go see it. I’ve had experiences before when people say, ‘Why should you see this movie?’ And in the back of your mind, you’re like, ‘You shouldn’t, because it’s shit.’”

Tom is currently promoting the acclaimed Christopher Nolan-directed film The Odyssey and the highly-anticipated new Spider-Man movie Brand New Day.

He said this summer has felt like “a bit of a victory lap,” and he’s “really enjoyed it.”

Tom added, “I’m super proud of both of the films.”

Tom shared a sweet PDA moment with his wife and Spider-Man co-star Zendaya during a recent interview.
