The full Jake Andrich drama explained, as OF lad gets TikTok booted

He’s been banned from TikTok now, but each video he’s posted has made it SO MUCH WORSE

OnlyFans’ Jake Andrich, who is sometimes referred to by his handle Jakipz, is at the centre of this rather exhausting scandal involving homophobia and sexuality. 

Jake Andrich has been a staple of the internet for ages, wielding 2.5 million followers on one Twitter account alone, and 14 million on TikTok before he was banned – more on that later. He’s often the subject of thirsty viral posts, largely because he’s fit, jacked, and covered in tattoos. 

For the longest time, many believed that Jake Andrich was a certain type of OnlyFans lad: Straight, with a predominantly gay fanbase. It’s a major niche in x-rated industries, but it’s regarded slightly differently from traditional gay-for-pay content, where models freely admit they’re straight in real life.

In 2026, there are literally hundreds of straight lads deliberately situating themselves in queer spaces to make HUGE money. Many people regarded Jake as one of these models, so he’s weathered many “queerbaiting” accusations over the years. 

Though “queerbaiter” is a common word in Jake Andrich’s comment sections, it really ramped up this month after a clip surfaced.

In a recent livestream, someone asked Jake Andrich whether he supported the LGBTQ+ community. Now, as previously mentioned, he’s particularly popular in gay circles. 

“Not in particular,” he responded, starting gay Twitter World War Three. 

Massive amounts of backlash soon followed, including from other OF creators. 

“If you look at his comment section on any one of his posts, it’s mostly just gay men. I used to look up to this guy. We probably share a lot of the same audience. My audience is 99 per cent gay men, so if you don’t support the LGBT community and you’re in this job, it’s absolutely insane,” Timothy Champagne, who has weathered “queerbaiting” accusations of his own, said. 

Then he tried to explain himself… and made it worse

Drama on the internet has a short shelf life, so if Jake Andrich had just zipped it, people would have proboably moved on. Instead, he started a series of clapbacks that have moved even more people against him. 

In the first, he said: “Obviously I’m not f**king homophobic; that’s the dumbest s**t ever. Have you seen what I’ve done the last decade being the number one male erotica personality? If you truly think that, you have one brain cell.”

Jake said that the live was deliberately edited to make him look worse, which I can confirm, and then he added: “I explained that I personally don’t care what religion, ethnicity, gender or sexuality someone is. I don’t default support a person based on a group they belong to, rather I support them on the individual they are. I enjoy both genders myself, but I wouldn’t expect someone to support me based on what turns me on.”

For some reason, Jake then did another explanation video where he further dug himself into a hole. In this one, he admitted “I don’t care” about the backlash. 

“Did ya’ll black out when I said, ‘Not in particular, yes and no.’ Yes, because I support equal rights, and no because I don’t like communities. I hate communities. I hate division. I hate separating people into groups.”

I won’t comment on a distaste for communities from the white, conventionally attractive, cis man, but obviously people were angry about that comment. Elsewhere in the video, he kinda addressed the question on everybody’s lips: What’s his sexuality? 

But there were no concrete answers, because Jake said he always responds “no” to questions about whether he’s straight, gay, or bisexual. He said that sexuality changes and evolves over time. 

The controversy is still ongoing, even more so after Jake was banned from TikTok with 14 million followers. Though people have pointed out that he’s never collabed with a man, it’s worth noting that he’s also never collabed with women. 

People are also angry over what they deem the “weaponisation” of queer beliefs. Some OF models often resort to saying their sexuality changes as a way to avoid losing followers and, in turn, subscriptions. The majority of queer people won’t call that person out because they want to be respectful of their journey. But we don’t know that’s the case here; we have to (and should) take him at his word. 

Though Jake might have been in the right when people edited his live with a very specific viral moment in mind, he’s made the situation considerably worse.
