Taylor Swift is back in the studio, according to new reports.

The 36-year-old The Life of a Showgirl singer-songwriter has reportedly begun work on new music, per Page Six.

Is Taylor Swift Back in the Recording Studio?

The alleged news came in the form of an update about Taylor and new husband Travis Kelce‘s “very different” work schedules following their star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding over the summer.

“They’re just incredibly happy to be in this next chapter together and are enjoying figuring out what their new normal looks like,” a source told the outlet.

“Taylor has been pouring herself into writing new music and is incredibly inspired creatively,” the insider claimed.

“Songwriting has been her main focus, and she’s really excited about what’s taking shape.”

At the same time, the source added that “Travis is completely dialed in on this NFL season right now. He’s focused on football, his team and having the best season he possibly can. He’s been in talks with different networks and studios over the last few years about various projects, and there are definitely opportunities there for him when the time comes, but none of that is his priority right now.”

“Their schedules look very different now than they did in the months leading up to the wedding, but they’re really enjoying finding their rhythm as a married couple,” the insider went on to say.

When Did Taylor Swift Last Release Music?

Taylor‘s last studio album The Life of a Showgirl arrived in October of 2025. The record spawned three singles: “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite” and “Elizabeth Taylor.”

Most recently, she achieved her latest Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit in the form of Toy Story 5 song “I Knew It, I Knew You,” and teased that she may be making a return to her country roots in a recent interview.
