Sara Bareilles‘ new music era has finally arrived!

The Grammy-winning singer hasn’t released new solo music since April 2019, when her album Amidst the Chaos dropped. Though she has collaborated with other artists in the years since, been on Broadway, and released songs for her TV show Girls5eva, this marks Sara‘s return to her music career.

Sara has announced that her new song “Home” will be released on Wednesday (June 3) at 11am ET.

“I’m so happy to finally share new music after almost 7 years — this new work is deeply personal… unlike all my other stuff. More exciting news on the way!” Sara wrote on Instagram.

Sara also included the hashtag for “Good Grief,” possibly hinting at an album title.

The confirmation of new music comes three days after Sara teased the next stage in her career in a video on her website. In the clip, she also confirmed a tour will happen soon.

“Hi everybody. Something’s coming soon. This is your boiler plate teaser video. I’m finally, after many years, making art again. Music, specifically, heard of it? Making music, making records, taking pictures about it, making videos, going on tour, all kinds of things are happening and something big is coming soon. One of the things is big and I’m getting off point, but you get it. Stay tuned!”
