Robert Pattinson is having an extremely busy year with multiple high-profile projects, but he’s also finding time to be a new dad!

The 40-year-old actor is currently at the 2026 Venice Film Festival promoting his upcoming A24 film Primetime, where he plays Dateline’s To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen.

During the festival, Robert made a comment about his newfound fatherhood, sharing that having a baby—with his fiancée Suki Waterhouse—had made him not want to go out as much, meaning he’s had more time to pick up work opportunities.

“I just had a baby,” he said during a press conference on the Lido, per The Guardian. “So I had no desire to go out at night, so suddenly I had twice as much time to do anything with, which was very helpful.”

Earlier this year, while talking to GQ, Robert shared how fatherhood had changed him.

“I go to bed a lot earlier. There’s just constant time management. It’s just that everything is time management, the whole time. I mean, it’s kind of obvious, but you don’t realize it until you do it,” he said at the time.

Back in October 2025, the Dune star also admitted he has become much more patient and genuinely enjoys “hanging out with babies” now.

Robert and Suki welcomed their daughter in April 2024. She was in attendance at the Venice Film Festival to support the premiere of Primetime.
