Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are reuniting for a new TV series!
On Thursday (June 25), Deadline announced that the former Vampire Diaries co-stars will be starring in the upcoming series adaption of the book You Deserve To Know, which is currently in the works at Hulu.
Based on the 2025 novel of the same name by Aggie Blum Thompson, the series will follow “three suburban couples — next door neighbors and best friends. When one of their husbands is murdered, a shocking trail of secrets is revealed, and their friendship cracks wide open.”
Nina and Paul will play “Gwen and Scott, respectively — two neighbors on opposite sides of a murder investigation, leading them on a collision course.”
The series is being written Grand Hotel developer Brian Tanen and will be produced by Alex Cooper‘s Unwell and Aaron Kaplan‘s Kapital Entertainment.
Nina and Paul starred together on the first six seasons of The Vampire Diaries, which aired on The CW from 2009 to 2017. While Nina left the show after the sixth season, Paul appeared on all eight seasons. Nina later returned for the series finale.
The former co-stars recently reunited earlier this spring when they attended a Knicks game together.
