Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman look great in contrasting colors as they hit the red carpet to promote Practical Magic 2 at 2026 CinemaCon on Tuesday night (April 14).
The two stars did a playful riff on Nicole‘s now-iconic AMC ad, with Sandra asking her: “Why do we come here, Nicole?”
And Nicole responding, “We come to this place for magic.”
They had a fun reminiscence of the 1998 romantic fantasy, according to Deadline, before teasing what fans can expect from the sequel.

You can expect “midnight margaritas, jumping off the roof, and also have our past catching up with us,” shared the Scarpetta star. “We have our destinies, and the family. I think it’s going to be really, really fun.”
Sandra added that doing the sequel “felt like we came back to a home that we once lived in.”
According to The Wrap, a brief teaser was shown featuring Nicole and Sandra‘s return and a scene where Sally (Bullock) tells Lee Pace‘s character, “Everyone we love dies,” and he says, “Oh, right.”
“A really horrible death,” Gillian (Kidman) notes. “It’s not great for the Tinder bio.”
Practical Magic 2 also stars Dianne Wiest, Stockard Channing, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod.
The film will hit theaters on September 11.
