Nicole Kidman is opening up in her latest magazine profile.

The 59-year-old Practical Magic 2 star has gone through two highly publicized divorces over the years.

If you are not aware, Nicole and Tom Cruise were married for 11 years, from 1990 until 2001. They share two adopted children – Isabella, 33, and Connor, 31.

Nicole was later married to Keith Urban and they share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15. They were married nearly two decades before splitting in 2025.

While chatting with British Vogue, Nicole was asked, “Is there any useful carry-over from having had one hugely scrutinised break-up many years ago to this time?”

Nicole‘s response? She compared both and said, “It’s all new…Every time!”

Nicole mentioned that she actually felt comfortable with the media attention after being married to Tom.

“Strangely enough, I feel comfortable. Is that weird? That’s so weird. But you have to remember literally, because of who I married at such a young age, I was thrust into it since I was 22,” she said.

She also mentioned being labeled Tom‘s “wife” and being told the marriage would impact her career.

She added later, “I got married so young. Suddenly I was 22, 23 years old and I had this huge movie star husband. But it just seemed completely natural. We just fell madly in love and it was that simple. I remember people saying to me, ‘OK, well this is really going to affect your career.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t care. I’m in love. I want to be married.’ And then I was his ‘wife’ and they were like, ‘See, we told you.’ I’m like, ‘So what? I wasn’t meant to marry the man I love? Of course I’ll throw my career away. I don’t care.’”

Nicole has mentioned Tom before…in fact, she made an epic quip about his height that went viral last year. She also clarified those divorce celebration photos.
