Nicolas Cage & Christian Bale Star as John Madden & Al Davis

Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale are taking on two football legends in the new official trailer for Madden!

The Oscar-winning actors transform into John Madden and Al Davis, respectively, in the upcoming biographical sports movie from director David O. Russell.

After previously giving fans a teaser for the movie, Amazon MGM Studios debuted the full official trailer on Thursday (September 24), offering a much bigger look at Nicolas and Christian in character.

Madden is inspired by the life of the legendary NFL coach, broadcaster and video game icon.

The movie chronicles John Madden‘s journey alongside his close friend and Raiders owner Al Davis, including their Super Bowl-winning partnership with the Raiders, Madden‘s rise to become one of football’s most recognizable voices and the creation of the hugely successful Madden NFL video game franchise.

Nicolas stars as Madden, while Christian plays Davis.

The cast also includes Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney and Shane Gillis.

David O. Russell directed the movie and co-wrote the screenplay with Cambron Clark.

Madden will first be released in select theaters on November 11 before making its global streaming debut on Prime Video on November 18.
