Netflix Picks Up Digital Teen Series 'Sunshine Girls,' Full Cast & Premiere Month Revealed | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Netflix is ramping up its teen and YA content!

The streamer just announced its pickup of the digital series Sunshine Girls, and it’s premiering later this year.

Filming wrapped back in April, according to social media posts by the cast.

What is Sunshine Girls about?

“Valley Hills is a perfectly nice California suburb… unless you’re like Olivia, who has lived in New York City her whole life. When her parents split up, Olivia is suddenly the new kid at Valley High, where she meets horse girl Taylor and influencer Riley. Freshman year comes at them fast, with false starts, first kisses, and family drama — but together these unlikely best friends will find their place in the sun.” – Tudum

Who stars in the new series?

Leading the cast are Alma Marian as Olivia, Isabella Fowler as Taylor, and Erin Rose Park as Riley. The trio can be seen in the main photo above, pictured left to right: Erin, Alma, and Isabella.

Also starring are Richard Flippo as Nick, Cal Tolentino as Milo, Dylan Kate as Becca, Andrew Ozuna as Jordan, Trevor Van Uden as Mr Nelson, Sara Quiriconi as Stephanie, and Nora Novak as Tabitha.

Several influencers are also set to appear, including supporting cast members PresLee Faith as Bethany, Kaido Roberts as Alfie, Kylie Castillo as May, and Nina Castillo as June, plus Kenzie Yolles as Caitlin and Kheris Rogers as Kiana in recurring roles. Deja Clark will also appear as Mia, with Lisi German as Maddy Sullivan, Marcus Johnson as Carter, and Alli Ingram as Veronica.

When does Sunshine Girls premiere?

The upcoming teen series is slated to debut on Netflix in December.
