'My Life With the Walter Boys' Season 3 Reviews Are In: Here's What Critics Are Saying | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

My Life With the Walter Boys is back.
The third installment in the series, based on Ali Novak‘s novel of the same name, arrived on the streamer on Thursday (August 6).
What is My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 about?
The path of true love never runs smooth, especially in Silver Falls. The last time we saw the Walters, Jackie and Cole finally confessed their love for each other, only for Jackie’s boyfriend — and Cole’s brother — Alex to overhear. But their conversation was interrupted when Walter patriarch George was rushed to the hospital. Season 3 sees the Walters realize what’s important in the fallout from this – and discover that it’s okay to go after what you want. With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver’s seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected.
Several new actors joined the cast, with some notable returns, including Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie Howard, Noah LaLonde as Cole Walter, Ashby Gentry as Alex Walter, Connor Stanhope as Danny Walter, Jaylan Evans as Skylar Summerhill, Sarah Rafferty as Katherine Walter, and Marc Blucas as George Walter.
But what are the critics saying about Season 3? Find out…
ScreenRant gave it a 7 out of 10, writing: “Season 3 is a fun new chapter in this cozy romance series that keeps presenting exciting ways for Netflix to bring it back…for the first time, the love triangle between the two Walter brothers and Jackie is not the focus of the show, and, honestly, My Life With the Walter Boys is better off for it.”
DMT gave it 3 out of 5 stars, writing: “Despite being a teen drama with such a silly premise on the outside (barring the dead family, that is in no way silly), none of the characters are flat, and Season 3 continues to prove this.”
RIOTUS gives it a C+, noting: “As easy to binge-watch as ever, My Life with the Walter Boys S3 is the strongest season yet, although there are still plenty of lessons left to learn.”
Tom’s Guide gave it 3 out of 5, and adds: “Season 3 is messy, overstuffed, and occasionally overwhelming, but its addictive romance, lovable characters, and bingeable drama make it hard to resist. It doesn’t fix every flaw, but it remains a guilty pleasure worth streaming.”
TV Fanatic concludes: “The new season was surprisingly refreshing.”
