Miranda Kerr & Evan Spiegel Relieve Medical Debt for More Than 250,000 Californians - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel are helping wipe out a massive amount of medical debt.
The couple announced in an Instagram video shared on Friday (June 26) that they have partnered with Undue Medical Debt to relieve unpaid medical debt for more than 250,000 people in California.
“Hey everybody, Evan and Miranda here,” Evan, 35, said in the clip. “And today we are so excited because we’re announcing a partnership with Undue Medical Debt to relieve over half a billion dollars of unpaid medical debt for more than 250,000 Californians.”
Miranda, 43, said they decided to speak publicly because people who are part of the effort will soon receive letters notifying them that their medical debt has been erased.
“If you happen to receive a letter in the mail letting you know that your medical debt has been forgiven, we want you to know, it’s real,” she said.
Evan added that medical debt “can be a burden” long after a health crisis is over, while Miranda said the goal is to let families focus on caring for their loved ones.
“When someone you love is sick, all you want to do is focus on helping them get better,” she said.
The pair also noted that there was no application on paperwork process required.
Miranda and Evan tied the knot in 2017 and share sons Hart, Myles, and Pierre. Evan is also stepdad to Flynn, Miranda‘s son with Orlando Bloom.
Earlier this year, Miranda shared some rare comments about her marriage to Orlando.
