Miley Cyrus Earns First No. 1 Album in More Than a Decade, Defeats Riley Green by 1,000 Units | Just Jared

Miley Cyrus is sitting on top of the Billboard album chart this week!

The Grammy-winning singer has achieved a number one album with Bass Persuades, her 10th studio album. This marks her first number one on the chart in more than a decade.

Miley launched her new album with 61,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States for the week ending September 24, according to Billboard. Her last album to reach number one was Bangerz in 2013.

It was a fight for number one between Miley and country singers Ella Langley and Riley Green.

Ella had nearly 61,000 equivalent album units with her album Dandelion after 24 weeks on the chart.

Riley‘s new album That’s Just Me came in at No. 3 in its first week with 60,000 equivalent album units.

Rounding out the top 10 were Morgan Wallen‘s I’m The Problem at No. 4 with 58,000 units, Olivia Rodrigo‘s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love at No. 5 with 55,000 units, Noah Kahan‘s The Great Divide at No. 6 with 46,000, Beabadoobee‘s Pylon at No. 7 with 35,000 units, Jhene Aiko‘s Westside Whimsy at No. 8 with 35,000 units, Drake‘s Iceman at No. 9 with nearly 35,000 units, and Noah Kahan‘s Stick Season at No. 10 with 34,000 units.
