Maria Bartiromo is out at Fox News and Fox Business Network.
The 58-year-old news anchor, who will turn 59 next week, is facing a sudden departure, with the network confirming the news. She’s been with the network for 12 years.
Her Fox Business Network show, Mornings with Maria, aired its final episode this morning (September 3), and will be rebranded to Mornings with Fox Business starting tomorrow (September 4).
Her other show, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street which also airs weekly, is no longer, and will instead becomeWall Street. It will be hosted by Cheryl Casone.
“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” Fox News said in a statement (via THR).
No reason for the exit was given at this time, and it’s unclear if she was fired or left on her own.
Many are likening this exit to that of Tucker Carlson‘s when he was suddenly ousted from the network years ago. Carlson was fired from Fox back in 2023, following the network’s historic Dominion settlement.
