Lindsay Lohan Recreates Her 'Mean Girls' October 3 Scene With Director Mark Waters | Just Jared

Lindsay Lohan remembered what day it was and enlisted someone who knows Mean Girls almost as well as she does.
The actress celebrated Mean Girls Day on Saturday (October 3) by revisiting the movie’s famous classroom exchange in a new social media video alongside director Mark Waters. Watch the recreation here!
This time, the filmmaker stepped into the spot originally occupied by Jonathan Bennett’s Aaron Samuels. That iconic scene eventually turned October 3 into an unofficial holiday for the movie’s fans.
“On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was,” Lindsay says in the video, reciting the famous line. “It’s October 3rd.”
Lindsay and Mark both broke into laughter seconds later.
The reunion comes as Lindsay and Mark collaborate on another project: Return to You, an upcoming Netflix romance also starring Henry Golding. She was spotted filming on set on Friday!
According to Netflix, the story takes place in 2008 and follows an attorney who receives a DVD intended for someone else. Its message, recorded by a dying woman for her husband, sends the lawyer on a search for the intended recipient.
Lindsay is also producing the movie, while Mark previously directed her in both Mean Girls and Freaky Friday.
