Kelly Lee Curtis Cause of Death Revealed, New Details About Passing of Jamie Lee Curtis' Sister - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Jamie Lee Curtis‘ older sister Kelly Lee Curtis passed away this past weekend, and new details are being revealed.

The 67-year-old actress mourned the death of her sibling on Saturday (May 30), and now, the coroner’s office is sharing her cause of death and more details.

Per the Blaine County coroner’s office, via Us Weekly, Kelly passed away from natural causes, and she was being taken care of by hospice in the last week before she died.

The office has also shared that she is expected to be cremated, and it’s currently unknown if the family is requesting an autopsy. Kelly‘s husband John Marsh was reportedly there when the coroner arrived.

Following her passing, Jamie Lee shared on Facebook, “She was my first friend and lifelong confidant. She was jaw droppingly beautiful, and a talented actress. She played a mean game of hearts, collected turtles, loved her family, nature, music, thrifting, travel, Facebook, and Pokémon Go. She was proud of her Danish roots and Hungarian Jewish ancestry and was a devoted American patriot.”

“She will be remembered for her loving generosity, fierce opinions, endless curiosity, unique style, and her powdered, almond, crescent cookies at Christmas, hence her name, Auntie Cookie,” Jamie Lee added.
