Kelly Clarkson is revealing if she’s single or dating anyone.

If you don’t know, most recently, Kelly was in a relationship with talent manager Brandon Blackstock. They met through the music industry and started dating in 2012 before marrying in October 2013. Kelly filed for divorce in June 2020 and it was finalized in March 2020.

Brandon died in 2025 at the age of 48 following a private battle with cancer. They shared two kids, daughter River Rose, 12, and Remington “Remy” Alexander, 10.

Kelly confirmed she is single.

“My kids right now, I think there’s a lot behind that, but I think that would rock their boat a little bit,” Kelly shared with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on the Las Culturistas podcast.

She added, “And honestly, this is not a [B.S.] answer. I love my life right now. Like, it just got to where I am not exhausted at every point of it.”

Kelly also said that she is “unwilling” to be in a relationship right now because it would mean she would have to “give” some of her time up.

Bowen responded, “It’s like the first time it’s the three of you without this big thing looming over it, having its own presence.”

Kelly said, “Yeah. It just, it’s been really good. We’re having fun, and we’re, you know, we’re cooking, we’re playing games. I’m there at pickup, or I’m there dropping off. I’m there.”
