It’s La La Anthony Season And These Looks Prove It

La La Anthony is having a major moment right now, and her recent run of fashion, hosting gigs, and major stages proves it. From Paris Fashion Week to major political and business stages, the “Power” actress, entrepreneur, fashion killer, and all-around baddie has been booked, busy, and looking bad AF.
Over the past four months, La La has been everywhere. Washington, D.C. Atlanta. New York. Paris. And those are just the work-related appearances we know about. The New Yorker has also given us major FOMO, enjoying vacay in spots like Ghana.
Her recent run shows just how many spaces she is commanding right now. Political rooms. Fashion events. Business stages. Editorial shoots.
And every time, the look changes with the assignment. Check out more of La La’s luxe looks after the jump.
From Political Stages To Paris Fashion Week, La La Is Serving

In September, La La co-hosted the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual Phoenix Awards Dinner alongside actor Amin Joseph. Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Styled by Wilford Lenov, she wore a gorgeous green sequined Donika Loci gown with sheer cutouts and a plunging neckline. The dress gave us signature La La sexiness with the glamour needed for one of Washington’s biggest Black-tie political events. (Some call it the official Black political prom).
That same month, she joined Serena Williams to celebrate the tennis legend’s collaboration with Vogue and Audemars Piguet. La La wore a fitted silver-and-gray printed midi dress with spaghetti straps and a dramatic fringed wrap. Pointed pumps and a black clutch completed the look.
By October, La La was in Paris – and took her style versatility across the pond.
This Paris Fashion Week, she shared look after look while hitting shows and serving the paparazzi on the streets. One fit paired her long red hair with a sexy black dress and dramatic black coat. Another put a black bomber over a fitted tan dress with oversized shades.
She switched it up again in a sheer green embellished dress with a rich teal feather and suede-paneled coat, before rocking a sheer blue knit two-piece with fringe detailing and matching heels.

La La also attended the Business of Fashion’s BoF 500 Gala in a gorgeous red John Giuliano dress that looked like she had been dipped in the color. The body-hugging silhouette, draped neckline, and cascading ruffles showed every curve. With her hair swept into a sleek bun and gold jewelry around her neck.
La La’s body was body-ing.
Cover Girl La La Has Entered The Chat
Her recent fashion streak also includes a major magazine moment.
Last month La La covered Numéro Netherlands, stepping fully into fashion editorial mode. The editorial made our jaws drop.
The spread gave us the avant-garde side of La La we do not always get to see. In one shot, she wore a sculptural blush-pink two-piece with oversized padded details wrapping across the body. Another look paired patterned tights and pointed pumps with a dramatic printed coat. For the cover, La La stretched across a collection of chairs in a plunging leopard-print gown.
The accompanying interview also reflected everything happening in her career right now. La La talked about acting, producing, fashion, motherhood, and the work she has done for five years with young men incarcerated at Rikers Island through her ThreeSixty program.
La La’s Stages Are About More Than Fashion
Her advocacy came front and center in August at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Atlanta.
La La joined a live taping of the Clock It podcast, where the conversation turned to criminal justice reform and her work with ThreeSixty. Through ThreeSixty, La La mentors incarcerated young men ages 18 to 21 at Rikers Island.
The conversation brought even more depth to the stages La La has been stepping onto lately. She is using her platform to talk about social justice, advocate for young men impacted by the criminal justice system, and bring attention to work that could help change their futures.
And naturally, she gave us a look while doing it. La La wore a fitted golden-yellow maxi dress with a plunging button-front neckline, oversized amber sunglasses, and a vintage Gucci bowling bag.
La La Anthony Is Taking Over Stages And Serving Looks
Her summer was just as packed. La La hit the stage at Invest Fest in Atlanta, bringing her business expertise and a fierce animal-print look to the event.
In July, she joined the fashion fun at Amazon Kids’ Back-to-School Runway Show in New York City. Even a casual day at the US Open became an opportunity to show off another side of her style.

We can’t count the number of stages and platforms La La has appeared on in the past few months. But our good sister is moving, leading conversations, making business moves, advocating for her community, and looking good while doing it.
Her style switches up every time. One day she is showing off her curves in a sexy gown. The next she is serving Paris street style, experimental editorial fashion, denim, or something sporty.
Keep taking over stages, La La. Keep giving us the fashion. It’s your season, Sis.
