'In Living Color' Comedian Reggie McFadden Passes Away at 57 | Just Jared

Reggie McFadden has sadly passed away.
The comedian and actor, who was known for his work on In Living Color and Def Comedy Jam, was 57 years old.
Reggie‘s sister, author Bernice McFadden, confirmed the news and revealed that their family was notified by the U.S. State Department.
What happened to Reggie McFadden?
Reggie passed away in Tanzania, where he had been living for approximately 18 years, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
At this time, his family does not know when he passed away or his cause of death.
Reggie was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and got his big break as a comedian on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in 1991.
He later appeared in 23 episodes of the fifth and final season of Fox’s In Living Color from 1993 to 1994.
His other television credits included Martin, Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, Moesha, Coach and Getting Personal. He also appeared opposite Larry David in a 2001 episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
On the big screen, Reggie appeared in movies including Jacob’s Ladder and Little Nicky.
