Hunter Biden Says Dad Joe Biden’s Cancer Has Spread: ‘It’s Really Sad to Watch’

Hunter Biden is sharing a disheartening update on his father, former President Joe Biden‘s cancer battle.

If you didn’t know, the 83-year-old former President of the United States was diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer back in May 2025.

In new interview with BBC that aired on Friday (August 7), Hunter, 56, revealed that his father’s cancer has spread, describing the battle “very debilitating” and “painful.”

“It’s really hard,” Hunter said of father’s condition. “It’s really sad to watch.”

“I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good,” the former lawyer continued. “The cancer has spread, it has metastasized into his bones and further. It’s very painful, and it’s very debilitating in many respects, but he’s still out there and he’s still doing his thing.”

Hunter‘s comments come after former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden said that her husband will “forever live with cancer.”
