Robot Chicken is celebrating 25 years of Adult Swim!

The Emmy-winning stop-motion comedy series from co-creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich will parody the network’s history in The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special, bringing together characters from some of its most recognizable shows.

The half-hour event places the Adult Swim lineup aboard a cruise ship for an anniversary celebration that quickly becomes a disaster of “titanic proportions.”

When Is The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special On?

The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special premieres at 12 a.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim late Sunday night (August 30).

Because the special begins at midnight as Sunday turns into Monday, some television listings may display the broadcast date as Monday, August 31.

The special runs for approximately 30 minutes.

What Channel Is The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special On?

The special will air on Adult Swim, the nighttime programming block that shares a channel with Cartoon Network.

Cable and satellite subscribers should locate Cartoon Network in their television guide and check their local listings to confirm the channel number and airtime.

Is Another Robot Chicken Special Coming?

Yes. Robot Chicken is also producing a separate special celebrating Cartoon Network’s 35th anniversary.

That installment will turn its attention to the network’s classic series and characters and is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2027. Additional details have not yet been announced.

The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special premieres at midnight ET/PT Sunday night on Adult Swim and streams Monday, August 31, on HBO Max.
