Hallmark Channel Announces 12 Stars & Football Icons Making Cameos in ‘Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story’ This Christmas Season

Hallmark Channel is continuing its partnership with the NFL this Christmas season with the third Holiday Touchdown movie and we’ve just learned about some exciting additions to the cast!

As previously confirmed, Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story will feature Hallmark favorites Lyndsy Fonseca and Robert Buckley in the lead roles with Marsha Mason, Barbara Alyn Woods, and Khary Payton in supporting roles. The movie recently wrapped production in Chicago and now the network has revealed all the stars making cameos in the film.

The plot for the film has not yet been announced, but you can expect the story to include romance, football fun, and some Christmas magic. The movie will air on October 17, marking the debut of the Countdown to Christmas season!

Making cameos in the movie will be current Chicago Bears players and some football legends, as well as Hallmark stars and local favorites.

The Chicago Bears head coach is confirmed to make a cameo in the movie!

Colston Loveland

Current Chicago Bears player, tight end Colston Loveland, will have a cameo in the film.

Cole Kmet

Cole Kmet, who is a current tight end for the Bears, will also make a cameo in the movie.

Mike Singletary

Mike Singletary played for the Bears from 1981 to 1992 and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He will have a cameo in the movie.

Charles “Peanut” Tillman

Charles “Peanut” Tillman played for the Bears from 2003 to 2014. After retiring from the NFL, he actually was an FBI agent from 2018 to 2025! He’s making a cameo in the movie.

Dan Hampton

Dan Hampton played for the Bears his entire NFL career from 1979 to 1990 and he’s a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He’ll make a cameo appearance in the movie.

Connie Payton

Connie Payton is the widow of legendary NFL player Walter Payton, who played on the Bears from 1975 to 1987. She will have a cameo in the movie.

Staley Da Bear

The team’s mascot, Staley Da Bear, will have a cameo in the movie.

Tamera Mowry-Housley

Hallmark favorite Tamera Mowry-Housley will make an appearance in the movie.

Marilu Henner

Hallmark legend Marilu Henner, who was born and raised in Chicago, will make a cameo in the movie.

Jake Connelly

Jake Connelly played Derek Turnbow in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. He’s a local Chicago actor, plays football for his high school team, and he’s going to make a cameo in the movie.

Dyon “Mojo” Brooks

Comedian Dyon “Mojo” Brooks will represent his hometown Chicago with a cameo appearance in the movie.

The movie will air later this year during Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas programming event.
