Fans have been wondering if two Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro contestants are dating…and we just got confirmation!
Briar Nolet and Erik Linder are a new couple, and she confirmed they met when they were on the show together.
On The Joe Vulpis Podcast, Briar spoke out about her relationship with Erik.
Briar Nolet and Erik Linder first spoke when he DM’d her in early 2026, before filming
She said he asked her via her DMs, “Are you going to Australia?” If you don’t know, The Next Pro was actually filmed earlier this year in Australia.
She continued, “I was like, ‘Who is this person?’ But I also knew that not a lot of people knew it was being filmed in Australia, so I was like, if he’s asking, he probably is.”
She said he wanted to ask her questions, apparently because she was based in Los Angeles. “I feel like when you live in L.A. you’re a little more in the know,” she said, adding he “probably had more details on the show than he did.”
She revealed that they are opposites
“Erik, my boyfriend, is the opposite of me. He is, and you’ll see on the show, he’s, like, chill dude. He is, like, cool dude, Mr. Chill. He can perform when he performs, but as a person, his personality is very calm, which is great because I’m so up here that he very much grounds me,” she explained.
Erik is still competing on DWTS: The Next Pro, but Briar was eliminated in Week 1
Erik has made it safely through week three, while Briar unfortunately was eliminated the first week of the competition.
They have been posting together recently, and fans took notice…prompting all the dating rumors. Stay tuned for more!
