The news was officially shared to his Instagram account, along with a photo of a white background, with “Iceman” in red and “May 15″ in blue.
“🧊 MAY 15,” he captioned the post.
The album release date was first revealed by streamer Kishka discovered a folder on top of an Iceman sculpture in Toronto, and he spent time chiseling the sculpture to find a golden ticket, which lead him to visit Drake‘s mansion with the magazine folder. He was then gifted a bag of cash by the rapper’s team.
This will mark Drake‘s ninth studio album, and his first in three years, following his last album For All the Dogs.
Last year, the rapper dropped songs like “Dog House,” “Which One” with Central Cee and “What Did I Miss.”
Drake has also been teasing the Iceman album since 2024, when he referenced the late Val Kilmer‘s character from Top Gun on social media, and later shared a screenshot of a folder called “2.0 – Iceman.”
In early 2025, Drake also teamed up with PartyNextDoor for the collaborative album Some Sexy Songs 4 U, which featured the single “Somebody Loves Me,” which was nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2026 Grammys earlier this year.
