President Donald Trump is drawing some attention for his exchange with a DoorDash delivery driver.

On Monday (April 13), Trump was outside the Oval Office for a news conference being held at the White House about No Tax on Tips, among other topics. He accepted two bags of McDonald’s from a DoorDash driver named Sharon Simmons, who was wearing a red shirt that read “DoorDash Grandma.”

The reason she was at the conference is to discuss the No Tax on Tips policy, which she told Fox News had helped her family.

“It has helped my family out immensely and I definitely appreciate it,” the DoorDasher explained.

She has worked as a full-time DoorDash driver since 2001 and said tips are the majority of her income. With the policy, she says she’s saved over $11,000.

However, the conference got a bit off track, with a clip going viral of Trump asking Sharon: “Do you think men should play in women’s sports?”

The question comes as he continues to criticizing Democrats for supporting transgender rights.

“I really don’t have an opinion on that. I’m here about No Tax on Tips,” she awkwardly responded, to which Trump nudged her a little by saying, “I bet you do.”

“No, no,” she maintained. “I’m here about no tax on tips.”

“I think you voted for me. Do you think?” Trump asked her at one point.

“Um, maybe,” Sharon replied.

He continued, “I heard you’re a great supporter. We appreciate it.”

“Well, you’re really nice, would you like to do a little news conference with me?” Trump then asked her. “These are not the nicest people, they’re not nice like you.”
