Derek Chadwick appears to have a new guy in his life, just weeks after he publicly disclosed his dating struggles.

The 30-year-old actor and influencer has shared a series of photos with a hot new guy, including some PDA-filled snapshots and shirtless moments.

A viral video also shows Derek ruffling the mystery guy’s hair while on a coffee date in Los Angeles. The person who shared the video captioned it, “Wait, didn’t he just post about being single lol.”

Earlier this month, Derek posted two videos on social media about being single.

“Guys, you know what’s funny? Living in L.A., there’s so many gay people, but I don’t know why for some reason it feels so hard to date here. I just miss when everything felt more organic and natural and it felt cool to meet people. I think I’m just craving that kind of feeling when you get to meet someone and it’s exciting,” Derek said in a video.

In a follow-up clip, Derek said, “Guys, I’m single! I’ve been single for like two years. And how come there’s no cool gay dating apps in 2026. Anyway, I love the beach, and I like coffee, and I like surfing, and I like CrossFit, and I like doing anything outside.”

In Derek‘s post with the new guy, he tagged the account for @join.goose. The account doesn’t yet mention what it’s for, but the description simply reads, “For the boys.”
