Demi Lovato Cameo In ‘Camp Rock 3’ Confirmed, Days Before Movie Premieres

It’s official – Demi Lovato is making an appearance in the upcoming Camp Rock 3!

The 33-year-old actress and singer will reprise her role as Mitchie Torres in the third installment of the Disney Channel movie franchise, where she got her big break.

Disney confirmed the news on Tuesday (August 10), just before Demi is expected to hit the red carpet at the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles, and three days before its debut on Disney Channel.

Demi is the fifth original Camp Rock star to be confirmed to reprise their role, following the Jonas Brothers and her movie mom, Maria Canals-Barrera.

In addition to appearing on screen, Demi and the Jonas Brothers are also executive producing.

Demi visited the set of the movie when they filmed last fall, which sparked speculation of her return. The director later hinted at a cameo from the pop star!

What is Camp Rock 3 about?

When Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, they return to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested — leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.
