David Corenswet Appears to Tell Photographer to Back Off Milly Alcock in Viral Video from 'Supergirl' Premiere - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

David Corenswet and Milly Alcock had a prime cousin moment at the Supergirl world premiere!

The 32-year-old Superman actor appeared to intervene on Monday night (June 22) at the red carpet premiere held in New York City when a photographer seemed to touch the 26-year-old actress on the back.

A clip surfaced on social media and quickly gained traction when it appeared like David was swooping in to defend Milly. In the video, you can see David and Milly chatting with Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult, all of whom came out to support the House of the Dragon alum at the premiere.

Then at one point, a photographer standing nearby puts a hand out on the middle of Milly‘s back. David immediately spots the action and walks around with his hand up, immediately placing a protective hand on Milly as he appears to tell the photographer not to touch her.

David took up the Superman mantle in the self-titled 2025 film, the first entry in the new DC Universe headed by James Gunn and Peter Safran. He also appears in Supergirl.

Milly was introduced to the universe in the end credits for Superman and now she’s leading her own movie. Also in attendance at the premiere were co-stars Eve Ridley and David Krumholtz, director Craig Gillespie, and producer James Gunn.

Supergirl will be released in theaters on June 26. Watch the trailer!
