Noah Kahan to Perform 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' During Emmys 2026 In Memoriam Tribute | Just Jared

Noah Kahan walked the red carpet at the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday night (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old singer arrived looking sharp in a relaxed black double-breasted tuxedo featuring satin lapels, paired with a crisp white dress shirt, black bow tie, and matching dress shoes. He also has an important role in tonight’s broadcast!

Noah, who is a two-time Grammy nominee and multiplatinum singer-songwriter, will perform Simon & Garfunkel‘s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” to accompany the ceremony’s In Memoriam tribute.

The reason behind his song choice

Executive producer Jesse Collins said Noah personally chose the Simon & Garfunkel song because it is personally meaningful to him, adding that the singer cites Paul Simon as one of his favorite artists.

“So it was really about coming up with an arrangement that does the song justice. He’s such a pure musician, and he’s worked really hard with our team to create something I think people are going to love,” Collins told Variety about the upcoming performance.
