Cyndi Lauper Fires Back at Heckler During Vegas Residency Opening Night: ‘If You’re Trying to Shade Me B—h I’m Gonna Come For You’ | Cyndi Lauper | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos
Cyndi Lauper had no time for hecklers when one interrupted her recent opening night show in Las Vegas.
The 72-year-old Grammy winner is currently doing a limited-engagement show at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, which runs through May 2. Friday (April 24) was her opening night and mid-show someone shouted at her as she was introducing “Sally’s Pigeons.”

Cyndi immediately fired back, “I don’t know what the f–k you’re saying, hon. But please remember where you are, OK? Because if you’re trying to shade me, b—h, I’m gonna come for you. I’m from Brooklyn, and if I wanna f–king talk, I will do a tap dance if I f–king want. Sorry, that of course is not part of my people skills.”
TMZ shared a clip of the incident.
The crowd applauded the singer’s response and she moved on from it all pretty quickly.
Her Vegas residency is her latest big project after her big “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” farewell tour, which wrapped up last summer. She said she was going to take a step back after that, but has continued taking on select live performances.
While it’s unclear who she was looking at, Cate Blanchett was also spotted giving a surprising response to someone who seemingly bothered her earlier this month.
The Oscar-winning actress could be seen giving someone the finger off-camera at the Olivier Awards, as shown in the video shared here.
