Sad news for fans hoping to see Charlie Puth in concert in Orlando.

Hours before he was scheduled to hit the stage on Saturday night (June 6), the 34-year-old Grammy-nominated singer announced that he has been forced to cancel the concert due to an illness.

“I am so devastated to do this, but I have to cancel tonight’s show,” Charlie wrote on his Instagram Story. “I’ve been sick for the last few days and am now being instructed to rest or else risk canceling more dates on this tour.”

“Performing for you all each night means everything to me, and you all deserve the best. I’m heartbroken, but I physically am unable to perform,” he continued. “Without a voice, I can’t give you guys the show you all deserve.”

Charlie concluded, “I’m so sorry, this was not an easy decision to make but I hope to see you all soon when I am well again.”

The “See You Again” singer was scheduled to perform at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Fla. while on his Whatever’s Clever! World Tour in support of his Whatever’s Clever! album, which he released in March. He dropped the album just days after welcoming his first child!
