CBS Reveals Fall Lineup of TV Shows with Major Changes: ‘Ghosts,’ ‘Matlock,’ & More Shows Delayed to Midseason | CBS, Ghosts, Longform, Matlock, NCIS, NCIS: New York, Television | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos
CBS has released their schedule for the 2026-2027 Fall season, and there are some surprising updates.
The most notable changes are to Ghosts and Matlock. Both shows will not debut in the fall, which is a departure from their previous seasons.
Both are expected to debut in 2027 instead, which usually would mean kicking off after the holiday season.
NCIS: Sydney will also premiere in the mid-season, which is not exactly new for the series. Season 1 was also a mid-season debut.
And, new series Einstein will premiere in 2027 as well.
As for new shows, there’s a new NCIS spinoff coming, NCIS: New York, and there are two other new TV shows: Cupertino and Eternally Yours.
Ghosts will not be leaving fans high and dry for the remainder of 2026…there are two specials also planned!
