Brian Hickerson has made his first statement on the death of Hayden Panettiere.
If you have not heard the tragic news, over the weekend, the Scream alum passed away while at a residence in South Carolina.
Hickerson was allegedly there when she was pronounced dead, as was his brother.

Brian Hickerson has a history of domestic violence arrests
Hickerson and Hayden were linked on and off for years.
For some backstory, in 2021, Brian plead no contest to two felony counts injuring a spouse/cohabitant/girlfriend/child’s parent. He was sentenced to 45 days in county jail after multiple domestic violence allegations involving the late Nashville actress.
Brian was also arrested and charged with eight counts of felony domestic violence and assault back in July 2020. He also allegedly punched her in the face in February 2020, which led to another arrest. In 2019, Brian was charged with felony domestic violence after an altercation with Hayden. That case ended up being dismissed.

“Hayden’s death remains under investigation and it is important to allow that investigation to proceed,” his attorney Sloan Ellis told TMZ. “As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play. Out of respect for Hayden’s loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time.”
