Camila Morrone has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming new Miami Vice ’85 movie!
The 29-year-old Emmy-nominated actress will be starring alongside Michael B Jordan and Austin Butler in the latest feature adaptation of the classic ’80s crime series, Deadline reports.
As of right now, Camila‘s character details are being kept under wraps.
Joseph Kosinski will be directing the movie for Universal from a script written by Dan Gilroy.
What is Miami Vice ’85 about?
The upcoming movie “explores the glamour and corruption of the mid-’80s Miami in an all new version,” and is inspired by the first episode of the 1980s TV series.
It was previously announced Michael will be playing Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs with Austin playing Sonny Crockett.
The cast also includes Alden Ehrenreich and Whitney Peak.
Miami Vice ’85 is set to be filmed for IMAX, with production starting later this year. The movie is currently slated for a May 19, 2028 release.
