Big Brother season 28 is back this evening with a brand new episode, airing on Sunday (August 9) on CBS.

If you don’t know, we’re already into week five of the BB season, and because of the live feeds, we already have a ton of spoilers ahead of this evening’s episode.

Who wins Head of Household for week 5 of Big Brother season 28?

LaTrice Verrett, aka Lala, is the Head of Household winner!

She held on for the infamous “wall comp” longer than any of her other competitors. She made history as the oldest female houseguest to ever win the tough challenge. If you don’t know, Lala is 58 years old.

Kamu came in second place, and many might be wondering if he’s one of Lala‘s targets.

Barrett Pfeiffer – Nominated for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother 28

Barrett Pfeiffer is a first-time nominee, thanks to Lala.

Haley Thogmartin – Nominated for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother 28

Haley Thogmartin hit the block for the first time ever, thanks to Lala.

Chuk Anyanwu – Nominated for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother 28

Chuk Anyanwu hit the block for the first time ever, thanks to Lala.

Originally, Lala was considering putting up Barrett Pfeiffer, Drew Campbell, and Kamu Kirk. Kamu made a strong pitch to remain off the block, and Lala obviously saw the value in keeping him safe this week. She ended up pivoting to Chuk and Haley, with Haley being her target.

Who won the Power of Veto competition for week 5 of Big Brother 28?

Kamu Kirk won the Power of Veto competition, guaranteeing he’ll be safe from eviction this week.

We will find out if he uses the Power of Veto via the live feeds on Monday (August 10).

Who won the BB Time Capsule vote for Big Brother 28 week 5?

Mallory Aurichio won the BB Time Capsule vote this week…however, she did not win a power. She was awarded a punishment where she and a fellow houseguest – Mallory – must remain dressed as Adam and Eve.
