The finale of the Netflix competition series Wonka’s The Golden Ticket is now streaming and the winner of the game show has been revealed.
12 Golden Ticket winners, and their partners, were welcomed into a massive recreation of Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, where they faced games, tests and temptations designed to challenge them physically, mentally and morally as they make their way through the factory. The grand prize, for just one contestant to win, was $3 million paid out over a span of 30 years.
The first seven episodes of the series were released last week and the final two episodes dropped on Wednesday, September 30. Heading into the two-part finale, there were six contestants remaining. We have spoilers for everything that happened in the finale, including who won in the end.

6th Place – Austin Keil
AGE: 29
PARTNER: Ziad
RELATIONSHIP: Roommates
HOW HE WAS ELIMINATED: Austin was eliminated right at the beginning of episode eight, showing what happened in the cliffhanger moment from the end of the previous episode.
It was between Garrison and Austin… but Austin had the bad egg and was eliminated.
5th Place – Bryce Lee
AGE: 22
PARTNER: Taylor
RELATIONSHIP: Dating
HOW HE WAS ELIMINATED: The final five were sent to the half office, where they sent in one-by-one in order of who lost their partner first. Garrison, Gabrielle, and Ziad all lost their partners already, so they went into the office first and each had to pick an egg.
When Bryce and his girlfriend Taylor went in together, they were told they cannot enter the next test as a pair, so one of them had to go home. They were tasked with playing a guessing game to determine the person moving forward, but Bryce failed it on purpose to send Gabrielle forward.
4th Place – Ziad Mansour
AGE: 32
PARTNER: Austin
RELATIONSHIP: Roommates
HOW HE WAS ELIMINATED: The final four were each sent into a room to collect coins that they would need for the next test. Garrison and Taylor went in first and took their two allotted coins and decided not to take any extra coins. Gabrielle went in next and took her two coins, plus the three extra coins, because she didn’t want Ziad to get any extra ones.
In the next test, players had to assign coins to other players to determine who would advance. Ziad didn’t get enough coins and was sent home.
3rd Place – Garrison Wilson
AGE: 30
PARTNER: Shawn
RELATIONSHIP: Son/Mother
HOW HE WAS ELIMINATED: The final three had to enter a maze, where they were tasked with completing three games. Gabrielle finished the games first and Taylor finished them next, both earning spots in the final two.
Garrison was eliminated.
Final Two Competition

A selection of the eliminated contestants were placed on a jury to determine the winner. Except, there was a twist. The jury votes didn’t determine the winner. The votes became a quiz.
Taylor and Gabrielle, the final two, were quizzed on who the jury voted for. For each correct guess, they earned a point and whoever had the most correct guesses at the end, won the prize.
In the end, the winner was…
Gabrielle Wright won the $3 million prize
Gabrielle guessed correctly 11 times, while Taylor guessed correctly 10 times.
Gabrielle earned the $3 million prize. She will get $100,000 per year for the next 30 years.
