Beyoncé doesn’t play when it comes to her man, her man, her man and she stepped out to support Jay-Z for his latest film series, Jay-Z In 8, making a statement in a black, lace number.
Though she skipped the red carpet, Queen Bey made sure to bless her fans with photos of her look on the celebratory occasion posted to her personal website. She donned a sexy, strapless black lace gown while Jay-Z put on a spiffy black suit of his own. Beyoncé completed her look with a pair of Jimmy Choos. She also rocked sheer, long gloves for an added bonus of glamour.
Bey has had a cause for celebration all her own recently too as her single “Morning Dew (Donk)” officially became her fourteenth No.1 single after it skyrocketed to the top of the R&B/Hip Hop charts after peaking at No. 7. Its success follow the rerelease of her sophomore solo album B’Day in honor of the record’s 20-year anniversary. Though fans were hoping for the official announcement of Act III from the queen, many also rejoiced at the opportunity to go back down memory lane for such a career milestone. B’Day was a sonic and visual departure from what many had come to expect from Beyoncé when it dropped in 2006 but Bey fans often hail it as one of her best works.
She also celebrated 25 years of Destiny’s Child Survivor album earlier this year, which produced her first Grammy award and No.1 album. It’s safe to say Beyoncé has been redefining what it means to have success and longevity as a music artist for many years now.
As for Jay, he’s spent most of the year reminding everyone why he’s considered to be one of hip hop’s greatest lyricists. From his four sold-out sets at Yankee Stadium to his shows in Paris and London, he’s proven that he can still bring em out, bring em out.
