Ben Affleck’s Kids Have Roasted His Dating History, He Revealed During ‘Kimmel’ Interview – Watch Now!

Ben Affleck is a two-time Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker, but he has also been making headlines for the past couple decades for his relationship history.

The actor, 54, opened up about his kids’ thoughts on his dating history while making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (September 24) in Los Angeles.

Ben is the father of three kids – Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14 – with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Ben said, “I give advice and try to talk to them, parent them as you do. What I found is that now it’s not only one teenager rolling their eyes, I’ll kind of launch into something at the dinner table and I’ll catch them giving each other looks and I realize I’m the caricature in this story.”

Ben said that he always thought he would be the “cool dad,” but things have changed.

“My kids are talking at dinner and they’re talking about their friends and the drama and the relationships and I have some lived experience, I think, that’s worth sharing, some lessons. You know, these are the kind of things we give to our children,” Ben said.

“I’ll say, ‘You know, well the thing about that relationship there…’ and the 17-year-old turns to me and goes, ‘Oh, like you’re the expert on relationships?’” he revealed.

Ben also said during the interview that Seraphina once roasted him while in a book store.

“I was with the same kid. I went to a bookstore with them and there was like, you know, they put all the displays of the books up. You see the titles and we’re just browsing around and there’s some book by a French guy and it’s called ‘I’m Sorry for Everything’ and my kid me just turns to me dead pan goes, ‘Oh look, dad, it’s your autobiography.’ I was kind of proud of them though. I’m like my kids like that,” he said.

Ben recently explained why Jennifer Garner turned down a role in his new movie.
