Adam Levine and Josh Brolin are currently on vacation together!

The 47-year-old Maroon 5 singer and the 58-year-old actor showed off their tattooed physiques while going shirtless on their vacation on Tuesday (July 14) in Portofino, Italy.

The guys were joined on the beach by their families, including Adam‘s wife Behati Prinsloo and Josh‘s wife Kathryn Boyd.

Adam and Josh have been friends for years and they both live in Montecito, California, a town that is hours north of Los Angeles.

Both of the stars are covered in tattoos and they had their ink on display for the day in the sun. You can see Josh‘s full back tattoo below!

Adam has previously revealed that the dove on his upper left bicep was his first tattoo.

“This was my first tattoo,” he told People. “I was 21. It was five days after 9/11. I felt this need to say something with this peaceful thing on my body.”

The outing in Italy comes just days after Adam took to his Instagram account to share a rare family photo.

Adam and Behati are parents to nine-year-old daughter Dusty Rose, eight-year-old daughter Gio Grace, and a three-year-old son whose name we haven’t learned yet.

Josh and his wife Kathryn are parents to daughters Westlyn, 7, and Chapel, 5. He also has two adult children with his first wife, Alice.
