Abby Lee Miller Once Again Slams ‘Dance Moms’ Star Maddie Ziegler Years After Their Falling Out

Abby Lee Miller is making it clear that she has no immediate plans on reconnecting with Maddie Ziegler after years of feuding.

If you didn’t know, the 60-year-old choreographer and the 23-year-old dancer/actress have been estranged for years ever since Maddie walked away from Dance Moms and cut ties with Abby‘s The Abby Lee Dance Company. In an interview from 2022, Maddie said that Abby created a “toxic environment” for the young dancers at her dance studio and while they filmed their Lifetime reality show.

In a new interview with E!’s Hot Goss, Abby once again slammed Maddie, her sister Kenzie Ziegler, and their mom Melissa Gisoni.

“When you wanted to win and you wanted to come in extra and you wanted more private lessons and you were the driving force, not your mother – she was looking for husband No. 3 – why didn’t you say it then?” Abby questioned.

Abby went on to say that not only did she champion Maddie in her competitive dance training, but was also a support system for her and Kenzie, now 22, during their parents Melissa and Kurt Ziegler‘s 2011 divorce.

“When your mother and father are screaming obscenities across the room and you’re hugging me and you’re holding on to me as tight as you can, Maddie, why didn’t tell me then you don’t want to do a solo every week?” Abby said. “You don’t want to win every week. You don’t want to be in the front. You could have said that easily to me.”

After noting that “we were close enough that could have happened,” Abby said that Maddie “wanted to win, and that “she was a perfectionist.”

As for what it would take for them to mend their fractured relationship, Abby said that she expects Maddie to reach out to her first.

“I’m the elder, and you have to speak to your elders,” Abby asserted.

If you didn’t see, back in June 2023, Maddie revealed that her mom has apologized for putting her through Dance Moms.
