Josh Hart is actually married to his high school sweetheart, and they have two children together!
Josh officially said “I do” to his longtime love Shannon Phillips in August of 2021.
On Instagram, Shannon once revealed just how far back they go.
In a March 2020 birthday post for him, she wrote, “From meeting you in 10th grade when we were only 15…to college…to you being drafted…to now. The years have really flew by but we have literally been through everything together (almost half our lives ). I wouldn’t change this journey with you for the world and I hope you have the most amazing day ever. Cheers to 25!”
Josh got engaged to Shannon in 2020
In December of 2020, they announced the happy news of their engagement. She wrote on Instagram, “CANT BELIEVE IM ENGAGED!! @jhart did amazing.”
They officially said “I do” on August 28, 2021
Josh and Shannon got married at 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami, Florida, just a few months after announcing the engagement.
In 2023, Shannon and Josh welcomed twin boys!
In May of 2023, the couple welcomed their twins, who they named Hendrix Aaron and Haze Dana.
In an interview with Essence, Shannon described their personalities, saying, “They are super active! Generally, really happy, friendly kids who love to explore and learn. They enjoy playing together, but also play independently.”
She was also asked about raising the boys with Josh’s hectic schedule, to which she said, “Lots of patience, but we love being with each other – giving support is key. The kids love watching their dad play, but I’m his number one fan.”
She added, “We stay grounded and always prioritize our family! We just have a strong bond.”
